Amie Miriello blogged about David! I went through and cleaned up her language a bit since she apparently likes to swear. Warning: The link to Amie’s blog includes a LOT more cussing.
Anyway- I am going to do some tour dates with David Archuletta….he invited me to open some shows and it’s gonna be great. He is such a cute kid, and I guess he thinks I’m good ! I just have to remember not to swear or talk s*** on stage cuz I don’t think his fans will like that. I am so inappropriate in general …. I need to to just shut up and play! it will be a good excersize for me….considering I stick my foot in my mouth around 5 times a day.

Hey, fanblast! So, I saw David at the Newport Concert in Columbus. It was so awesome to be there! Especially because I almost missed it!! I was nervous haha. I had play practice, so I got there just before David came onstage. David exceeded my expectations! His voice was flawless and so beautiful! I love that he sounds so good live! Annnnd he’s incredibly cute haha. He was so sweet to the crowd, thanking them after every song. It was cool to see that he really does have cool personality and is 100% himself. It was one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to! We waited out by his tour bus after. He walked by and waved. But the police wouldn’t let him come out because it was on an alleyway and cars kept driving by. They said it was unsafe. I was sad, but that just gives me an even better reason to see him again! I hope he comes back to Columbus soon. After seeing David though, my art class started doing pencil drawings. We were supposed to draw a well-known face, so I did David since I just saw him. I hope you guys like it! Go, Archie!

I wonder which shows Arnie will be opening for David? Is he doing another solo tour this year? That would be fabulous. I’ve heard another tour is in the works but don’t know if it’s a solo tour. Anyway, David must like some of Arnie’s music, haven’t heard it myself but will check her out. If she watches her language on stage all should be fine, haha!
More amazing videos of David, it’s so great to see them posted. He is such a class act, the best!! Going to get in some voting now before I go out.

Melissa-#7- Right now on thhe Xm 20 0n 20 threeo’clock countdown A Little Too Not Over You is playing at Number 18. Thursday night at the six o’clock countdown it was Number 1 and later at nine p.m. it was number 4. It flucuates. We have to keep hugging him. We shuld try for the six and nine countdown this weekend. Let’s go there now.

Has anybody noticed that during this tour David has never worn the same shirt twice? Plus both a grey and white hoodie, and a purple sweater. I’m wondering if he was finally able to go through all his gift bags from the idol tour, I’m sure he got a ton of new shirts, haha!

Note to all the fans- A Little Too Not Over You was NUMBER 1 on the ten o’clock countdown, tonight at XM Radio 20 on 20. Excellent work, guys and gals. I missed the six o’clock one. Went to a church dinner, sorry. Anyway, This is great. Our hugs are getting noticed. Jeffreyd958-#13- Yes, I noticed . He looked so cute on stage. Couldn’t check out his feet all the time. I get a kick out of his sneakers. Most of the videos don’t show his feet. From where I was sitting in N.J., couldn’t see his feet either. David ‘s style is always just right. Simple and honest, just like him!!

PLEASE KEEP ON REQUESTING!!!
If anyone still has any doubts regarding how important requesting is terms of the number of spins David’s songs receive, please take heed of a conversation a fan had with Z100 in New York on Saturday. He told her that since they have not been receiving a high volume of requests from LOCAL listeners, the number of spins for ALTNOY have decreased.
The lessons to be learned? Keep up with requests! Even if ALTNOY (or “Crush”) is being played, don’t assume it will continue without our requests. Also, request only at your local station(s). DJ’s can tell when calls, text messages, or Mediabase requests come from out of the listening area. We don’t want to annoy radio stations or DJ’s — that will backfire on our efforts to help David.
Here’s one Mediabase online request form we all can use (Sirius Hits-1). Since they haven’t listed ALTNOY yet, write it out as follows: David Archuleta “A Little Too Not Over You”

He’s second to the last amongst all the idol contestants’ sale-wise.
We need to make his album cd platinum. Enough of other polls distractions. His album cd sales are all that matters. Radio stations are sick of whiny requests. Buy, buy, buy his album please!!!!!

Yes, we should all continue to purchase David’s CD and his singles and give them as gifts. However, it is still early days in terms of sales for David. I too saw that blog which compared sales amongst Idols. It added up sales going all the way back to Season 1, so singers like Kelly Clarkson have had many years’ worth of sales, not just a few months like David. In addition, sales across the boards have tapered off dramatically over the years as, unfortunately, more people download music illegally. Taking all of this into account plus the current economic conditions, and factoring in the pop genre, which typically sells fewer albums than rock or country, David is doing quite well.
Radio stations do not like “whiny” requests, however requesting is still important. New York’s Z100 makes it clear that requests are VERY IMPORTANT when determining which songs they will play and how often. More airplay will lead to more sales.

ALTNOY needs a huge push on ITUNES. The only way to do that is for all of these David Archuleta fansites to come together and have one day where we all request and get some attention. David Cook is releasing a new single this week and while I hate comparisons between the two Davids we’ll see how his songs go. Please email and ask any fansites you visit to help out with this. if we can get David in the mainstream 40 at Billboard maybe VH1 will add his video.

Yes, the girl has a potty mouth, but she may just transform into having more self respect while touring with DA. He has a way of influencing others, don’t you think? Secondly, DA will often be performing with artists who are completely unlike him. In fact, he admires some artists who I think exhibit bad behavior. I don’t get the idea that DA is judgmental about others, but from the sound of this girl, it seems he does expect that they will not behave badly or use gutter language while on HIS tours with him.

#19 Melissa, you had suggested that all fans should make an effort to buy or download David’s ALTNOY or Album this March 27th, after David’s concert and I agree with that. So, count me in! We should not STOP purchasing his CD. My goal is to make it platinum at least! Guys, please help!!BTW, I’ve noticed that my local radio station in NJ had stopped playing Crush. I’ve been trying to call and email my request for both Crush and ALTNOY. They’ve been playing other AIs songs esp DC and KC.Grrr!!

Who is this Amie person? What does she sing? Why does David want her??? I know David accepts everyone but she sounds like a whole bunch of ,”I’m Into Me and Myself”, which doesn’t sound like much either!! God Bless David. He is such a loving soul.
