Demitria Lovato, also known as Demi, was born on August 20,1992 in Dallas, Texas. Her parents are Deana
Lovato and Patrick Lovato. Demi is the middle child out of 3 girls. She has an older sister named Dallas Lovato and a younger half-sister named Madison DeLaGarza.
Demi started singing and acting at a very early age. When she was only six years old, Demi got her first break into TV as Angela on the Barney and Friends series.
In 2006, she tried to get into more television. She began to recieve roles in episodes for series like Split Ends, Just Jordan, and Prison Break. In 2007, she recieved her first role on the Disney Channel for a Short series called As The Bell Rings,playing Charlotte. Her big break came in 2008 in the role of Mitchie Torres in the popular Disney movie called Camp Rock, co-starring the Jonas Brothers.
After Camp Rock, Demi released her debut album called Don’t Forget on September 23rd, 2008. She also toured with the Jonas Brothers on their 2008 “Burning Up Tour”.
