Hey guys, I just read a pretty nasty comment on David on Mjsbigblog, it was under the idol sales headline a little over half way down on the front page. a person named tinawina called david a failure because he didn’t sell as much as cook when he was on idol and that he sang a poor song poorly on the show last week. I’m going to register there and reply as soon as i can. I hope some of you will too. By the way davids album jumped from 183 to 109!! way to go david!!

Well the Cook lovers never seem to surprise me. Nasty as usual and on the Cook bus. David has done more interviews and had more concerts than Cook. Also, never heard of Cook going to Singapore and Malaysia on a solo tour. He is going to the Phillipines with David and from what I read David Archuleta is more popular there than DC. Oh well who cares, we love our David Archuleta, the haters will be haters. Due to lack of future Cook exposure they might be jumping on another bus at the end and we will still be on the DAVID ARCHULETA RIDE. As an older fan, I also can’t wait for the Miley/David duet. I bet this will make the CD sales jump higher as well. Although I am not crazy about Miley and will never purchase a Miley CD, I will definitely download the new duet. They are both sound great together. GO DAVID. Haters take a hike!

Tara #4- Guess the nasties will dis David James because it makes them feel good. They haven’t realized that David James doesn’t have a negative thought for anyone or anything. Eventually they may see the light but unfortunately some people will always be ignorant! My motto is ugnore the ignorant and feel the joy we all get from David James Archuleta, the most gentlest soul to walk this planet!!

Thanks for posting that audio guys. Kudos to “Our Darlin’”. My how he has matured, he sound so smooth in that interview. A bit rushed, but very nicely done.

Now about the people who post derogatory things about David. That’s been going on since David was on Ai, so no need to think it will end any time soon. What we do is SUPPORT DAVID JAMES ARCHULETA. Tell the mal-posters, thanks for your comment and you move on. I came to David through AOL Chat and trust me, that statement was nothing compared to what I’ve seen both written and pictorially.

Cook is cook and David James is David James. Why be so concerned about something that could easily be a buy up by the label to promote the msuic. I hear thaere’s a shortage of rockers and they need new blood, So why would n’t they do all they can to promote Cook. Please don’t underestimate anything in the music industry. Those of us old enough have heard too many stories of how it works.

So anyway, continue to do what we do for David and let his label and management handle him.:)

Oh I am blushing – just listened to this audio of the Paul O’Grady taping and I am the Lorraine that Paul spoke to David about (who flits between Las Vegas and England). This part of the interview got cut from the final version that went out on TV today – I’d written a note to Paul suggesting he ask David about how young he was when he started to take an interest in the British music scene and was that how he discovered “Angels” and how well received it was in Newcastle and would he please keep it on the set for the rest of the UK tour .. thank you to whoever recorded this audio version as it is different to the TV version and I can’t believe my name is out there in cyberspace now (still blushing) but very happy to be associated in some tiny way with the wonderful David Archuleta :) Wished I was good with vidcam as I had a perfect view from the side balcony in Portsmouth last night and he sang “Angels” just yards from me, going to have to brush up on that. Thanks again to whoever taped this.

I saw 2 videos of David on Paul O’grady Show at Youtube. He looks healthy and happy. He’s so cute with his plaid black and blue shirt, and on the scene with two sheeps. He looks hilariously tense with the animals. His big smile is so contagious and undeniably handsome. His performance of Crush with his band was short and sweet. More power to him and his band !!!!! The world sales of his cd will definitely make it PLATINUM soon, if not double platinum. Let’s pray for their safe return to US. Thanks for your time.

Lyn I can’t say for sure because that’s how life is, but David has been less than #1 a few times, but he then recaptures his throne in short order. I think this is simply due to xRank wanting to bring mejor stories to the public attention. Like the Chris/Rhianna issue, the Simpson weight thing, the death of Natasha, and today the Kirstie thing because she was on Oprah. You see what being on Oprah can do…and why David should be on there. I think Oprah ahs had all the top and second place Idols on her show except David. And I firmly believe it is because of Simon.

#13 lyn: Be sure to do your web searches for “David Archuleta” on Google as well. The “other” David still comes up first. In addition, I also do web searches from Yahoo, Juno, AOL, and Comcast. The more buzz for David the better.

Speaking of “buzz,” everyone please make a point of clicking on the blogs and articles that your web searches bring up. Web sites love “hits” because they bring them more ad revenue. The more hits they get on stories involving David, the more stories they are likely to post. One caveat: please avoid the trashy tabloid sites like TMZ. I DO NOT want to help their bottom line!

Whenever possible, please leave positive comments about David, and never say anything negative about another artist, etc. In other words, be like David!

Threes good. I called and spoke to Styles on the phone at 8:25p.m. est. and voted for ALTNOY. He was so nice and said thank you. Good job everyone who voted today!!

#15 Mary, I do have yahoo and AOL.I do searches on everything that has ‘David Archuleta’ in it. That’s how obssessed I am with his talent.lol. I’m not familiar with Juno and comcast though. And btw,to make it clear, I’m never interested with that ‘other’ person’s whereabouts.I don’t read any article about him because I’m not interested. I’m just wondering why people who doesn’t like David will take time or waste their precious time to write negative or nasty comments to make their life look miserable!!!As FANS we know DAVID as much as these haters do and that’s all that matters!!!!

lyn – It was Priestly (I think) at XM Radio who brought it to our attention that the other guy was getting more web searches on Google than our David. I’m pretty sure Mary was not suggesting that you were interested in that other person!

To answer your question as to why some take the time to write nasty comments: jealously, pure and simple. I used to get angry, and I still do to some degree, but mostly I just feel sorry for them. If David can forgive them, then I will try to as well.

Gosh, when he said that he wants to always be in music, I felt this sudden need to just press all of his fans/supporters to do more for him. I always want him in music also. maxie2go: You can get some BBC programming in the U.S. if your satellite or cable TV provider has BBC America in its lineup. I do not believe, however, that the Paul O’Grady Show has ever been on BBC America. Too bad, because I think he is just a dear.

I too felt my heart swell a bit when David was talking to Paul about his experience on American Idol clinching it for him as far as wanting to make music his career of choice.

I’m so glad Paul O’Grady humorously pointed out to David that he too has trouble watching himself on television! I think only a narcissist would enjoy watching/listening to himself, and for someone as humble and self-effacing as David, it is even more difficult. David, however, has got to come to terms with the fact that millions of us adore both his appearance and his voice!

david news has slowed considerably :(

#37 Alyssa: I don’t think “David news” has slowed, it’s just that we have to search a bit harder for it since he’s in the UK. As I see it, David has had a tremendously busy week with the McFly concerts, appearing on the Paul O’Grady Show, the debut of his duet with Miley Cyrus this weekend, his vlog and twitters…If that’s a slow news week, imagine what a busy one would be like!

I’m anticipating a lot more concert videos in the coming days since I know that some of his most ardent UK/European fans will be attending several upcoming concerts. We should have a lot to look forward to in that regard. In the meantime, we should all concentrate on voting, requesting, downloading “Touch My Hand,” buying another copy of his CD to gift, etc. I’m with maxie2go in that we need to do more to help David. He’s so worthy of our time, money, and devotion.

Hey guys I have a question? Is the video of Touch My Hand the real offiicial video? Like the one that would go on Musiqtone or VH1? Where are we at as far as requesting? Do we still request ALTNOY on Radio Disney and XM are do we move on to TMH? We need a plan! And Open House Party what do we request. Can we still try to vote ALTNOY on to VH1 or is that hopeless? Alan hasn’t added TMH to Musiqtone yet. Can we wildcard it or Demand it be added or do we always wait until he adds music?

Okay, for those of you who may still be wondering why ALTNOY never got onto Vh1; as near as we can ascertain, it was because the song never made it into the top 40 of the charts. SO now that question is why didn’t it make it into the top 40? Because Jive didn’t promote it. Jive wanted TMH to be the 2nd release but some of us (fans) wanted ALTNOY, and petitioned Jive as such. The 2nd release was ALTNOY not what Jive wanted so why would they promote it. They taught us a lesson about who is David’s label, and makes decisions about his music. Hopefully we learned to leave the business of DJA’s music to his label.
*Mind you, this is a theory, not a stated fact.* But A Dj who keeps in touch with Jive told me they did not promote this song. Did you guys hear any promos from Jive? Or see any. Obviously they are loving on David, so we need to keep our mouths shut, and just give David all the fan support we can. There is so much we can do for him. But he has a label and managers.

So, When TMH gets into the top 40 or so we can really wildcard it on VH1, til then lets’ request it on Mediabase and in the DJS’ ears or text or whatever the method. And please don’t forget to bring “CRUSH” back you into the top on Casey’s Countdown. This song is just getting better and better. Let’s try and keep it around til Aug. 17. Wasn’t that the drop date?

marvangel is right. David has achieved so much in just a year, and what a year it’s been! Let’s stay focused and support David with as much positive energy as we can. Negative energy takes as much or more out of a person, and in the end you’re left with nothing and you’ve done nothing to help David. Just out of curiosity why did Cooks Come Back to me get right on VH1- I dont think that it has reached in the top 40! I could be wrong but I dont think so! So does that mean taht Jive will promote TMH? I hope sooo!

HUNNZY, I think that is the official TMH video. I don’t watch VH1 anymore so I don’t know who’s videos are in it. It’s unfair then that they are playing cook’s even it has not reached top 40. VH1 should at least put David’s video on Jump start.Does anyone here knows why?!!!

HUNNZY, I haven’t been in VH1 for quite some time (really should go check my mail in there), if Cook’s new song’s video is in there then they are not using the charts to add to the playlist. This is the FMQB that list Vh1′s playlist and as you can see CBTM is not in the top 40.
