Here’s a short review for Archie from The Dallas Morning News!
It was a sweet moment in a night that was full of such wholesomeness. But one wouldn’t expect anything less from opening act David Archuleta, who took the stage after a short but rousing set by all-girl group KSM.
The 2008 American Idol runner-up, wearing a red-white-and-blue-checked shirt that evoked a patriotic-farmboy feel, displayed exactly why he vaulted so high in the Idol stratosphere. His pure, strong pipes were in perfect form throughout the set, which included his hit “Crush,” as well as an a cappella version of “Como La Flor,” which he sang as a tribute to the late singer Selena.
The audience jumped and screamed for the squeaky-clean Archuleta, who seems to have found a perfect home within the Disney universe. No, he doesn’t have a sitcom, but he was on that other hit show way back when. That, judging by the fans’ reaction, seems to make up for it.

Awww, the Dallas Morning News had such nice things to say about our David. I’ve been voting for David today at tweeter and TCA. I’m in Maryland for the week. No internet connection, so I go to A BK and they have free WiFi for customers. I bring my computer there and vote from there. I also play David’s songs in the Burger King. All the help have fallen in love with David’s voice and music. They said they’re going to buy the album. Great, huh? All the vids are terrific. See ya!

Honestly, I don’t care about that twitter thing anymore..lambert is monopolizing the poll. Right now, all we have to do is to maintain David’s position where allen can’t overtake his spot in the category of Best Solo Male artist. And most importantly,we have to work hard that David gets the surfboard in all categories he’s nominated at TCA. SO…GO ARCHIES!!!

ok i went to buy “I wanna know you” on itunes this morning but its the miley only version. You have to buy the whole album for $12 to get the “I wanna know you” version with david. that is so stupid.

Patricia, I’m not sure what is going on with the Mr. USA contest. This appears to be a new one. I am continuing to vote on the Best Solo Male category, and when that one is over I’m done with Mallplace and the Twitter polls.
