I was blessed to be at this concert last night. Those of you yet to see him, you are in for a treat. His voice was perfection at it’s best. His duet with his mom was awsome! When he sang Prayer for the Children it made me cry! You might not be able to knock the smile off my face. Took my daughter and her best friend. They will be on cloud nine for days I’m sure! I’m nearly speachless! Stunning, amazing, heart tugging songs! Benton Paul is so nice. He signed autographs and took pictures during the intermission. Everyone be prepared to be wow’d!!!

My sister, 12 year old niece and I were at David’s concert last night. It was amazing! I liked how he divided the night up from starting with his band and singing songs from his lst cd. When he sang “Zero Gravity” he had the entire audience from very young to very old up and moving around. After finishing those songs he sang “Fields of Gold” with his guitar player and “Prayer for the Children” with Kendra accompanying him on the piano. Then they all went off stage and changed into more dressed up outfits and the set changed to accompany a small symphony orchestra with a Christmas background. The whole mood of the concert changed when David came out again and started singing “Melodies of Christmas” and continued on with other songs from his Christmas cd.
When David and his mother (Lupe) sang “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas”, it was so sweet. She became tearful and choked up towards the end of the song. They both hugged after they finished singing and it was one of those “awwwwwww” moments.
My favorite songs in his Christmas set were “Pat A Pan”, “Riu Riu Chiu”, “Ave Maria” (which he sang with a children’s choir and Kurt Bestor on piano), and “The First Noel”. After a standing ovation he came back and sang “O Holy Night”.
David’s voice was crystal clear and soared throughout the room! Everyone in this sold out audience seemed to enjoy him. There were people of all ages there, from a 4 year old I saw waving from the audience to a couple who looked to be in their 70′s. He seemed nervous at first but as the night went on he got better and better. This was my first David Archuleta concert and it was fantastic!

I agree with goodangel’s comments above. Please everyone go to the Permanent Voting & Request list and there is an area where you can let Oprah know that you want David on her show any why. Be sure to send Ophrah your comments about David and ask her to please interview him on her show and have him sing!
