Kathryn, I think David is cuter than Elvis ever was. Just my opinion.

nellie83: Believe me, I agree with you! Added to that is the fact that David is a complete natural. (Did you know that Elvis dyed his hair black? He looked good with dark hair but, like Adam Lambert, he was actually blondish!)
Anyway, the point I was trying to make is that David has a very retro look in those photos with the black suit, white shirt, and skinny tie. Plus, David's spiked hair in those photos is a modern take on the 50's style.
Here's a slide show showing David and Jordin with a snazzy red sports car at an auction to benefit Miami Children's Hospital. (David is in photos 19 – 23.) See if you agree with me that David has the look of a young Elvis in photos 21 and 23.
